    Saturday, September 1, 20178- ZYDECO PARADE

    • The Parade Lines Up at 8:00AM Hwy 190, Wallior St & Grolee St, Opelousas Travel through Landry St (Downtown Opelousas to Festival Grounds - Local Zydeco Artist, General Public Party Wagons, Cars, Trucks, Truck/Trailers, RV and Political Showcase your Business, Group, Event and Enter for Fun (must Pre-register)  (see Parade Application)
    • Saturday, September 1`, 2018 - ZYDECO BREAKFAST Saturday morning – (Time 8:30am to 10:30am) The Opelousas Courthouse Square. Free Admission (Hosted by the City of Opelousas, Zydeco Capital)
    • Saturday, September 1, 2018 - ZYDECO DANCE CONTEST -  The Contest is open to anyone that feel they are the BEST ZYDECO DANCER in the place. NO Professional DANCERS are welcome to compete. Contest will take place 12:00 PM to 10PM in Festival Building before the Main Stage. Judging and Winners will be announced from Festival Main Stage
    • September 1, 2018 - 36th ANNUAL ZYDECO FESTIVAL. Yambilee Festival Grounds, Opelousas, LA (12:00 PM - until, $15.00 Adults Kids $5:00
